Homemade Play Dough

Play Dough

Stir together in a pan:
2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup salt
4 tsp. cream of tarter

Add all at once to dry ingredients:
4 tsp. oil
2 cups water
Food coloring (optional)

Cook, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon, over medium heat until mixture forms a ball. It will be very lumpy. Remove from heat and knead until smooth. Allow to cool, then store in a ziplock bag.
